Technology Convergence in Sport - a new concept for Scotland

The Sporting Chance Initiative is part of the Scottish Collaboration and Innovation Programme run by Stirling University Innovation Park and backed by the Scottish Executive, ERDF and the University of Stirling.  Its objectives are to create a smart sports community which brings together all of the essential technological and sporting ingredients.  By providing an interactive forum, participants from diverse organisations and backgrounds, not normally linked in the course of their business or professional activity, can collaborate in creating innovative products and services for sporting applications.
