Welcome to Sporting Chance Initiative

Scotland's Hub for Business Innovation in Sport

The Sporting Chance Initiative (SCI) helps Scottish businesses with less than 250 employees to develop new and enhance existing products, processes and services for sports, health and wellness markets.

We are the only support organisation for sports innovation in Scotland.

Our team offers a variety of services free of charge, including:

•    Information on business opportunities for companies
•    Access to academic expertise in higher education
•    Information on funding support available for SMEs
•    Match funding of up to £5,000 for innovative collaborative projects with higher education institutions
•    Provision of information on a range of sport and technology markets

The SCI team has access to a huge range of academic expertise, professional sports advice and an increasing network of successful sports, health and fitness businesses.
